           Nextday,havingbeeninvitedbythecount,PrinceAndrewdinedwiththeRostóvsandspenttherestofthedaythere.

           EveryoneinthehouserealizedforwhosesakePrinceAndrewcame,andwithoutconcealingithetriedtobewithNatáshaallday.NotonlyinthesoulofthefrightenedyethappyandenrapturedNatásha,butinthewholehouse,therewasafeelingofaweatsomethingimportantthatwasboundtohappen.ThecountesslookedwithsadandsternlyseriouseyesatPrinceAndrewwhenhetalkedtoNatáshaandtimidlystartedsomeartificialconversationabouttriflesassoonashelookedherway.SónyawasafraidtoleaveNatáshaandafraidofbeinginthewaywhenshewaswiththem.Natáshagrewpale,inapanicofexpectation,whensheremainedalonewithhimforamoment.PrinceAndrewsurprisedherbyhistimidity.Shefeltthathewantedtosaysomethingtoherbutcouldnotbringhimselftodoso.
