           OnthetwelfthofNovember,Kutúzov’sactivearmy,incampbeforeOlmütz,waspreparingtobereviewednextdaybythetwoEmperors—theRussianandtheAustrian.TheGuards,justarrivedfromRussia,spentthenighttenmilesfromOlmützandnextmorningweretocomestraighttothereview,reachingthefieldatOlmützbyteno’clock.
