AllhonortotheEnderbies,therefore,whosehouse,Ithink,existstothepresentday;thoughdoubtlesstheoriginalSamuelmustlongagohaveslippedhiscableforthegreatSouthSeaoftheotherworld.
Theshipnamedafterhimwasworthyofthehonor,beingaveryfastsailerandanoblecrafteveryway.IboardedheronceatmidnightsomewhereoffthePatagoniancoast,anddrankgoodflipdownintheforecastle.Itwasafinegamwehad,andtheywerealltrumps—everysoulonboard.Ashortlifetothem,andajollydeath.
