           Althoughherdress,hercoiffure,andallthepreparationsfortheballhadcostKittygreattroubleandconsideration,atthismomentshewalkedintotheballroominherelaboratetulledressoverapinkslipaseasilyandsimplyasthoughalltherosettesandlace,alltheminutedetailsofherattire,hadnotcostherorherfamilyamoment’sattention,asthoughshehadbeenborninthattulleandlace,withherhairdoneuphighonherhead,andaroseandtwoleavesonthetopofit.
