           “Ihopeyouwon’tbedull?”

           “Ihopenot,”saidAnna.“IgotaboxofbooksyesterdayfromGautier’s.No,Ishan’tbedull.”

           “She’stryingtotakethattone,andsomuchthebetter,”hethought,“orelseitwouldbethesamethingoverandoveragain.”
