           LucaSpaghetti’sbirthdayfallsthisyearonAmerica’sThanksgivingDay,sohewantstodoaturkeyforhisbirthdayparty.He’snevereatenabig,fat,roastedAmericanThanksgivingturkey,thoughhe’sseentheminpictures.Hethinksitshouldbeeasytoreplicatesuchafeast(especiallywiththehelpofme,arealAmerican).HesayswecanusethekitchenofhisfriendsMarioandSimona,whohaveanicebighouseinthemountainsoutsideRome,andwhoalwayshostLuca’sbirthdayparties.

           SoherewasLuca’splanforthefestivities-hewouldpickmeupataroundseveno’clockatnight,afterhe’dfinishedwork,andthenwewoulddrivenorthoutofRomeforanhourorsotohisfriends’house(wherewewouldmeettheotherattendeesofthebirthdayparty)andwe’ddrinksomewineandallgettoknoweachother,andthen,probablyaround9:00PM,wewouldcommencetoroastingatwenty-poundturkey…

           IhadtodosomeexplainingtoLucaabouthowmuchtimeittakestoroastatwenty-poundturkey.Itoldhimhisbirthdayfeastwouldprobablybereadytoeat,atthatrate,arounddawnthenextday.Hewasdestroyed."Butwhatifweboughtaverysmallturkey?Ajust-bornturkey?"
