           Butwhatif,eitherbychoiceorbyreluctantnecessity,youendupnotparticipatinginthiscomfortingcycleoffamilyandcontinuity?Whatifyoustepout?Wheredoyousitatthereunion?Howdoyoumarktime’spassagewithoutthefearthatyou’vejustfritteredawayyourtimeonearthwithoutbeingrelevant?You’llneedtofindanotherpurpose,anothermeasurebywhichtojudgewhetherornotyouhavebeenasuccessfulhumanbeing.Ilovechildren,butwhatifIdon’thaveany?Whatkindofpersondoesthatmakeme?
