           Theschoolmasterreceivedthiscommunicationwithperfectcheerfulness,observingthathehadadaytosparetwodaysforthatmatterandcouldverywellaffordtowait.Asthepatientwastositupintheevening,heappointedtovisitherinherroomatacertainhour,andramblingoutwithhisbook,didnotreturnuntilthehourarrived.
