           ‘Surely,’saidtheoldman.‘Thebetterforallparties.’

           ‘Yousaytrue,’returnedtheoldman.‘PoorNelltoo,whatwouldshedo?’

           ‘Exactly,’bawledthedwarfnoddinghishead;‘that’sverywellobserved.Thenwillyouconsideraboutit,neighbour?’

           ‘Iwill,certainly,’repliedtheoldman.‘Weshallnotstophere.’

           ‘SayFridaymorning,’returnedtheoldman.

           ‘Verygood,’saidthedwarf.‘SobeitwiththeunderstandingthatIcan’tgobeyondthatday,neighbour,onanyaccount.’

           ‘Good,’returnedtheoldman.‘Ishallrememberit.’
