           IhadnotseenMr.Wemmickforsomeweeks,whenIthoughtIwouldwritehimanoteandproposetogohomewithhimonacertainevening.Herepliedthatitwouldgivehimmuchpleasure,andthathewouldexpectmeattheofficeatsixo’clock.ThitherIwent,andthereIfoundhim,puttingthekeyofhissafedownhisbackastheclockstruck.
