           UncleSenecawasmarriednow,having,becauseofhiswealth,attractedtheattentionofapoorbutambitiousPhiladelphiasocietymatron;andbecauseofthisthegeneralconnectionsoftheCowperwoodswereconsideredvastlyimproved.
