           ‘Thereisno"ofcourse"inthecase,Sam,’saidMr.Pickwick,graduallybreakingintoasmile,inspiteoftheuneasinesswhichSam’sobstinacyhadgivenhim.‘Thefameofthegentlemaninquestion,neverreachedmyears.’
