           Deprivedoftheyounglady’ssociety,Mr.BobSawyerproceededtodiverthimselfbypeepingintothedesk,lookingintoallthetabledrawers,feigningtopickthelockoftheironsafe,turningthealmanacwithitsfacetothewall,tryingonthebootsofMr.Winkle,senior,overhisown,andmakingseveralotherhumorousexperimentsuponthefurniture,allofwhichaffordedMr.Pickwickunspeakablehorrorandagony,andyieldedMr.
