           Herreceptionofhimwasofasortwhichhecouldnothavehopedfor,hadheexpectedtoseeher.Comingashedidfromsuchapurportfulfilledashadtakenhimaway,hewouldhaveexpectedanythingratherthanalookofsatisfaction,andwordsofsimple,pleasantmeaning.Itwasenoughtosethisheartinaglow,andtobringhimhomeinthepropereststateforfeelingthefullvalueoftheotherjoyfulsurprisesathand.
