ManytreasuresandgreatheirloomsofvirtueandwondertheExileshadbroughtfromNumenor;andofthesethemostrenownedweretheSevenStonesandtheWhiteTree.TheWhiteTreewasgrownfromthefruitofNimloththeFairthatstoodinthecourtsoftheBangatArmenelosinNumenor,ereSauronburnedit;andNimlothwasinitsturndescendedfromtheTreeofTirion,thatwasanimageoftheEldestofTrees,WhiteTelperionwhichYavannacausedtogrowinthelandoftheValar.TheTree,memorialoftheEldarandofthelightofValinor,wasplantedinMinasIthilbeforethehouseofIsildur,sinceheitwasthathadsavedthefruitfromdestruction;buttheStonesweredivided.ThreeElendiltook,andhissonseachtwo.
