Ar-Feinielshewascalled,theWhiteLadyoftheNoldor,forshewaspalethoughherhairwasdark,andshewasneverarrayedbutinsilverandwhite.
ThesonsofFinarfinwereFinrodthefaithful(whowasafterwardsnamedFelagund,LordofCaves),Orodreth,Angrod,andAegnor;thesetourwereascloseinfriendshipwiththesonsofFingolfinasthoughtheywereallbrothers.
Asistertheyhad,Galadriel,mostbeautifulofallthehouseofFinwe;herhairwaslitwithgoldasthoughithadcaughtinameshtheradianceofLaurelin.
HeremustbetoldhowtheTelericameatlasttothelandofAman.ThroughalongagetheydweltinTolEressea;butslowlytheirheartswerechanged,andweredrawntowardsthelightthatflowedoutovertheseatotheLonelyIsle.
