Thentherewasmadeagreatandjoyfulfeast,forTuorhadwontheheartsofallthatpeople,saveonlyofMaeglinandhissecretfollowing;andthustherecametopassthesecondunionofElvesandMen.
InthespringoftheyearafterwasborninGondolinEarendilHalfelven,thesonofTuorandIdrilCelebrindal;andthatwasfivehundredyearsandthreesincethecomingoftheNoldortoMiddle-earth.
