EvermostvigilantwasMithrandir,andheitwasthatmostdoubtedthedarknessinMirkwood,forthoughmanydeemedthatitwaswroughtbytheRingwraiths,hefearedthatitwasindeedthefirstshadowofSauronreturning;andhewenttoDolGuldur,andtheSorcererfledfromhim,andtherewasawatchfulpeaceforalongwhile.
