ThereafterMelianspoketononesavetoMablungonly,biddinghimtakeheedtotheSilmaril,andtosendwordspeedilytoBerenandLuthieninOssiriand;andshevanishedoutofMiddle-earth,andpassedtothelandoftheValarbeyondthewesternsea,tomuseuponhersorrowsinthegardensofLorien,whenceshecame,andthistalespeaksofhernomore.
