AtthistimeHurinandHuor,thesonsofGaldorofDor-lomin,weredwellingwiththeHaladin,fortheywereakin.InthedaysbeforetheDagorBragollachthosetwohousesoftheEdamwerejoinedatagreatfeast,whenGaldorandGloredhelthechildrenofHadorGoldenheadwereweddedtoHarethandHaldirthechildrenofHalmirlordoftheHaladin.ThusitwasthatthesonsofGaldorwerefosteredinBrethilbyHaldirtheiruncle,accordingtothecustomofMeninthattime;andtheywentbothtothatbattlewiththeOrcs,evenHuor,forhewouldnotberestrained,thoughhewasbutthirteenyearsold.
