MorgothhadthennotlongcomebackintoMiddle-earth,andhispowerwentnotfarabroad,andwasmoreovercheckedbythesuddencomingofgreatlight.Therewaslittleperilinthelandsandhills;andtherenewthings,devisedlongagesbeforeinthethoughtofYavannaandsownasseedinthedark,cameatlasttotheirbuddingandtheirbloom.
