NowAredhelandMaeglincametotheOuterGateofGondolinandtheDarkGuardunderthemountains;andthereshewasreceivedwithJoy,andpassingthroughtheSevenGatesshecamewithMaeglintoTurgonuponAmonGwareth.ThentheKinglistenedwithwondertoallthatAredhelhadtotell;andhelookedwithlikinguponMaeglinhissister-son,seeinginhimoneworthytobeaccountedamongtheprincesoftheNoldor.
