Oftenandoftenwepursuedthesedebatesuntiltheclockpointedtomidnight,andthecandleswereburningdown.Theresultofsomuchgoodpracticewas,thatbyandbyIbegantokeeppacewithTraddlesprettywell,andshouldhavebeenquitetriumphantifIhadhadtheleastideawhatmynoteswereabout.
