CharlesGrondin,PresidentofHighCountryInvestments.WhenitbecameknowninJulyofthisyearthathewasrunningtheHighCountryshipitwasannounced-considerablyafterthefact-thathehadresignedhispositioninDerwentEnterprisespreviously.Thesilver-manedGrondin,whorefusedtotalktomeforthiscolumn,hasbeentriedonceandacquittedontaxevasioncharges(1960).
