Harryspedon,staringaround,andsoonthedwellingsbecamemorenumerous;thereweregardensofweedaroundsomeofthem,andheevensawapetgrindylowtiedtoastakeoutsideonedoor.Merpeoplewereemergingonallsidesnow,watchinghimeagerly,pointingathiswebbedhandsandgills,talkingbehindtheirhandstooneanother.Harryspedaroundacornerandaverystrangesightmethiseyes.
Awholecrowdofmerpeoplewasfloatinginfrontofthehousesthatlinedwhatlookedlikeamer-versionofavillagesquare.
