           "Hello,"shesaid,holdingupastackoftoast,whichshewascarryinginanapkin."Ibroughtyouthis....Wanttogoforawalk?"

           Theywentdownstairs,crossedtheentrancehallquicklywithoutlookinginattheGreatHall,andweresoonstridingacrossthelawntowardthelake,wheretheDurmstrangshipwasmoored,reflectedblacklyinthewater.Itwasachillymorning,andtheykeptmoving,munchingtheirtoast,asHarrytoldHermioneexactlywhathadhappenedafterhehadlefttheGryffindortablethenightbefore.Tohisimmenserelief,Hermioneacceptedhisstorywithoutquestion.
