           ThesemailsarecarriedtoDublinbyexpresstrainsalwaysheldinreadinesstostart;fromDublintheyaresentontoLiverpoolbythemostrapidboats,andthusgaintwelvehoursontheAtlanticsteamers.

           PhileasFoggcountedongainingtwelvehoursinthesameway.InsteadofarrivingatLiverpoolthenexteveningbytheHenrietta,hewouldbetherebynoon,andwouldthereforehavetimetoreachLondonbeforeaquarterbeforenineintheevening.

           TheHenriettaenteredQueenstownHarbouratoneo’clockinthemorning,itthenbeinghightide;andPhileasFogg,afterbeinggraspedheartilybythehandbyCaptainSpeedy,leftthatgentlemanonthelevelledhulkofhiscraft,whichwasstillworthhalfwhathehadsolditfor.

           ButatthismomentFixcameup,puthishanduponMr.Fogg’sshoulder,and,showinghiswarrant,said,"YouarereallyPhileasFogg?"

           "Iam."
