           "Well,IfeignedcourtshipofMissIngram,becauseIwishedtorenderyouasmadlyinlovewithmeasIwaswithyou;andIknewjealousywouldbethebestallyIcouldcallinforthefurtheranceofthatend." 

           "Excellent!Nowyouaresmallnotonewhitbiggerthantheendofmylittlefinger. Itwasaburningshameandascandalousdisgracetoactinthatway.DidyouthinknothingofMissIngram’sfeelings,sir?"

           "Youhaveacurious,designingmind,Mr.Rochester.Iamafraidyourprinciplesonsomepointsareeccentric."
