Igooutbeforebreakfast—assoonasit’slight,mostdays—formyfirststroll.Itwasrainingthismorning,andthedampmakesmyjointsache,butIhookedaponchofromtherackbythekitchendoorandwentout,anyway.Whenamanhasachore,hehastodoit,andifithurts,toobad.Besides,therearecompensations.
