           "Ladiesandgentlemen,infiveminutes’time,IwillbeaskingyoutomakeyourwaydowntotheQuidditchfieldforthethirdandfinaltaskoftheTriwizardTournament.WillthechampionspleasefollowMr.Bagmandowntothestadiumnow."

           Harrygotup.TheGryffindorsallalongthetablewereapplaudinghim;theWeasleysandHermioneallwishedhimgoodluck,andheheadedoffoutoftheGreatHallwithCedric,Fleur,andViktor.

           "Feelingallright.Harry?"Bagmanaskedastheywentdownthestonestepsontothegrounds."Confident?"

           "I’mokay,"saidHarry.Itwassortoftrue;hewasnervous,buthekeptrunningoverallthehexesandspellshehadbeenpracticinginhismindastheywalked,andtheknowledgethathecouldrememberthemallmadehimfeelbetter.

           TheywalkedontotheQuidditchfield,whichwasnowcompletelyunrecognizable.Atwenty-foot-highhedgeranallthewayaroundtheedgeofit.Therewasagaprightinfrontofthem:theentrancetothevastmaze.Thepassagebeyonditlookeddarkandcreepy.

           Fiveminuteslater,thestandshadbeguntofill;theairwasfullofexcitedvoicesandtherumblingoffeetasthehundredsofstudentsfiledintotheirseats.Theskywasadeep,clearbluenow,andthefirststarswerestartingtoappear.
