Hecouldtellatoncethattheycarrieddifferentsortsofbubblebathmixedwiththewater,thoughitwasn’tbubblebathasHarryhadeverexperiencedit.Onetapgushedpinkandbluebubblesthesizeoffootballs;anotherpouredice-whitefoamsothickthatHarrythoughtitwouldhavesupportedhisweightifhe’dcaredtotestit;athirdsentheavilyperfumedpurplecloudshoveringoverthesurfaceofthewater.Harryamusedhimselfforawhileturningthetapsonandoff,particularlyenjoyingtheeffectofonewhosejetbouncedoffthesurfaceofthewaterinlargearcs.Then,whenthedeeppoolwasfullofhotwater,foam,andbubbles,whichtookaveryshorttimeconsideringitssize,Harryturnedoffallthetaps,pulledoffhispajamas,slippers,anddressinggown,andslidintothewater.
Itwassodeepthathisfeetbarelytouchedthebottom,andheactuallydidacoupleoflengthsbeforeswimmingbacktothesideandtreadingwater,staringattheegg.
