Thereisnocorrectdogmaorperfectideology.Thereisonlywhatyourexperiencehasshownyoutoberightforyou—andeventhen,thatexperienceisprobablysomewhatwrongtoo.AndbecauseyouandIandeverybodyelseallhavedifferingneedsandpersonalhistoriesandlifecircumstances,wewillallinevitablycometodiffering“correct”answersaboutwhatourlivesmeanandhowtheyshouldbelived.Mycorrectanswerinvolvestravelingaloneforyearsonend,livinginobscureplaces,andlaughingatmyownfarts.Oratleastthatwasthecorrectanswerupuntilrecently.Thatanswerwillchangeandevolve,becauseIchangeandevolve;andasIgrowolderandmoreexperienced,IchipawayathowwrongIam,becominglessandlesswrongeveryday.

Butthat’snotit.Sure,rejectionhurts.Failuresucks.
