Exactsame26.2miles.Exactsamepersonrunningthem.Exactsamepaincoursingthroughyourexactsamelegs.Butwhenyouchoseitfreelyandpreparedforit,itwasagloriousandimportantmilestoneinyourlife.Whenitwasforceduponyouagainstyourwill,itwasoneofthemostterrifyingandpainfulexperiencesofyourlife.
Oftentheonlydifferencebetweenaproblembeingpainfulorbeingpowerfulisasensethatwechoseit,andthatweareresponsibleforit.
