           "Oh,quitewell!Ineverfeltbetter." 

           "Thenyoumustproveitbyevincingagoodappetite;willyoufilltheteapotwhileIknitoffthisneedle?" Havingcompletedhertask,sherosetodrawdowntheblind,whichshehadhithertokeptup,byway,Isuppose,ofmakingthemostofdaylight,thoughduskwasnowfastdeepeningintototalobscurity. 

           "Itisfairto-night,"saidshe,asshelookedthroughthepanes,"thoughnotstarlight; Mr.Rochesterhas,onthewhole,hadafavourabledayforhisjourney." 

           "Journey!IsMr.Rochestergoneanywhere?Ididnotknowhewasout."
