TheNewtons’OlympicOutfittersstorewasjustnorthoftown.I’dseenthestore,butI’dneverstoppedthere-nothavingmuchneedforanysuppliesrequiredforbeingoutdoorsoveranextendedperiodoftime.IntheparkinglotIrecognizedMike’sSuburbanandTyler’sSentra.AsIpulledupnexttotheirvehicles,IcouldseethegroupstandingaroundinfrontoftheSuburban.Ericwasthere,alongwithtwootherboysIhadclasswith;IwasfairlysuretheirnameswereBenandConner.Jesswasthere,flankedbyAngelaandLauren.Threeothergirlsstoodwiththem,includingoneIrememberedfallingoverinGymonFriday.
