It’safour-hourflightfromPhoenixtoSeattle,anotherhourinasmallplaneuptoPortAngeles,andthenanhourdrivebackdowntoForks.Flyingdoesn’tbotherme;thehourinthecarwithCharlie,though,Iwasalittleworriedabout.
Charliehadreallybeenfairlyniceaboutthewholething.HeseemedgenuinelypleasedthatIwascomingtolivewithhimforthefirsttimewithanydegreeofpermanence.He’dalreadygottenmeregisteredforhighschoolandwasgoingtohelpmegetacar.
