Itseemedtotakeforeverformetogettothecorner.Ikeptmypacesteady,themenbehindmefallingeversoslightlyfartherbehindwitheverystep.Maybetheyrealizedtheyhadscaredmeandweresorry.IsawtwocarsgoingnorthpasstheintersectionIwasheadingfor,andIexhaledinrelief.TherewouldbemorepeoplearoundonceIgotoffthisdesertedstreet.Iskippedaroundthecornerwithagratefulsigh.
