           ButtheNomedidnotpronouncethewordaright,either,havingneverhearditspokenbutoncebefore,andthenwithawrongaccent.SotheFoxwasnottransformed,butithadtorunawaytoescapebeingcaughtbytheangryNome.

           RuggedonowbeganpronouncingtheMagicWordineverywayhecouldthinkof,hopingtohittherightone,andtheFox,hidinginabush,wassomewhattroubledbythefearthathemightsucceed.However,theWizard,whowasusedtomagicarts,remainedcalmandsoonrememberedexactlyhowKikiAruhadpronouncedtheword.SoherepeatedthesentencehehadbeforeutteredandRuggedotheNomebecameanordinarywalnut.

           TheWizardnowcreptoutfromthebushandsaid:"Iwantmyownformagain—Pyrzqxgl!"

           InstantlyhewastheWizardofOz,andafterpickingupthehickory-nutandthewalnut,andcarefullyplacingtheminhispocket,heranbacktothebigclearing.

           DorothytheLambutteredableatofdelightwhenshesawheroldfriendrestoredtohisnaturalshape.Theotherswereallthere,nothavingfoundtheGoose.ThefatGillikinwoman,theMunchkinboy,theRabbitandtheGlassCatcrowdedaroundtheWizardandaskedwhathadhappened
