Iwastooterrifiedtoclosemyeyes,thoughthecoolforestairwhippedagainstmyfaceandburnedthem.IfeltasifIwerestupidlystickingmyheadoutthewindowofanairplaneinflight.And,forthefirsttimeinmylife,Ifeltthedizzyfaintnessofmotionsickness.
Thenitwasover.We’dhikedhoursthismorningtoreachEdward’smeadow,andnow,inamatterofminutes,wewerebacktothetruck.
"Exhilarating,isn’tit?"Hisvoicewashigh,excited.
