Heraisedhishand,hesitant,conflictraginginhiseyes,andthenswiftlybrushedthelengthofmycheekbonewithhisfingertips.Hisskinwasasicyasever,butthetrailhisfingersleftonmyskinwasalarminglywarm-likeI’dbeenburned,butdidn’tfeelthepainofityet.
