Ihadnotroublefindingthebookstore,butitwasn’twhatIwaslookingfor.Thewindowswerefullofcrystals,dream-catchers,andbooksaboutspiritualhealing.Ididn’tevengoinside.ThroughtheglassIcouldseeafifty-year-oldwomanwithlong,grayhairwornstraightdownherback,cladinadressrightoutofthesixties,smilingwelcominglyfrombehindthecounter.IdecidedthatwasoneconversationIcouldskip.Therehadtobeanormalbookstoreintown.
