Iwasverycautiousnottoleantoofaroverthelittleoceanponds.Theotherswerefearless,leapingovertherocks,perchingprecariouslyontheedges.Ifoundaverystable-lookingrockonthefringeofoneofthelargestpoolsandsattherecautiously,spellboundbythenaturalaquariumbelowme.Thebouquetsofbrilliantanemonesundulatedceaselesslyintheinvisiblecurrent,twistedshellsscurriedabouttheedges,obscuringthecrabswithinthem,starfishstuckmotionlesstotherocksandeachother,whileonesmallblackeelwithwhiteracingstripeswovethroughthebrightgreenweeds,waitingfortheseatoreturn.Iwascompletelyabsorbed,exceptforonesmallpartofmymindthatwonderedwhatEdwardwasdoingnow,andtryingtoimaginewhathewouldbesayingifhewereherewithme.
