           DirectinterventionbytopstatementalhealthofficialspromptedthetransferThursdayofmulti-personalityrapistWilliamS.MilligantoLimaStateHospital,amaximumsecurityfacility,areliablesourcereports.

           ThetransferordercameaftertopofficialsintheOhioMentalHealthandMentalRetardationsColumbusheadquartersmadeseveralphonecallsWednesdaytotheAthensMentalHealthCenterwhereMilliganhadbeenconfinedfor10months,thesourcesaid.

           MentalHealthDirectorTimothyMoritzmadeatleastoneofthecalls,thesourceadded....Twostatelegislators—Reps.MikeStinzianoD-Columbus,andClaireMr.Ball,Jr.,R-Athens—repeatedlyhavecomplainedaboutwhattheychargedwaslenienttreatmentgiventherapist.

           ThursdaybothStinzianoandBallpraisedthedecisiontotransferMilligantotheLimafacility,butBalladded,"Ionlywonderwhattooksolong?"
