Intheirlapelstheinsigniaoflodgesandserviceclubs,placeswheretheycangoand,byaweightofnumbersoflittleworriedmen,reassurethemselvesthatbusinessisnobleandnotthecuriousritualizedthieverytheyknowitis;thatbusinessmenareintelligentinspiteoftherecordsoftheirstupidity;thattheyarekindandcharitableinspiteoftheprinciplesofsoundbusiness;thattheirlivesarerichinsteadofthethintiresomeroutinestheyknow;andthatatimeiscomingwhentheywillnotbeafraidanymore.
