           Billwalkedovertothesideboardandpulledoutabottleoffire-whiskyandsomeglasses.

           "Here,"hesaid,andwithawaveofhiswand,ehsenttwelvefullglassessoaringthroughtheroomtoeachofthem,holdingthethirteenthaloft."Mad-Eye."

           "Mad-Eye,"echoedHagrid,alittlelate,withahiccup.ThefirewhiskysearedHarry’sthroat.Itseemedtoburnfeelingbackintohim,dispellingthenumbnessandsenseofunrealityfiringhimwithsomethingthatwaslikecourage.

           "SoMundungusdisappeared?"saidLupin,whohaddrainedhisownglassinone.

           Theatmospherechangedatonce.Everybodylookedtense,watchingLupin,bothwantinghimtogoon,itseemedtoHarry,andslightlyafraidofwhattheymighthear.
