The Wedding

           Threeo’clockonthefollowingafternoonfoundHarry,Ron,Fred,andGeorgestandingoutsidethegreatwhitemarqueeintheorchard,awaitingthearrivaloftheweddingguests.HarryhadtakenalargedoseofPolyjuicePotionandwasnowthedoubleofaredheadedMuggleboyfromthelocalvillage,OtterySt.Catchpole,fromwhomFredhadstolenhairsusingaSummoningCharm.TheplanwastointroduceHarryas"CousinBarny"andtrusttothegreatnumberofWeasleyrelativestocamouflagehim.

           Allfourofthemwereclutchingseatingplans,sothattheycouldhelpshowpeopletotherightseats.Ahostofwhite-robedwaitershadarrivedanhourearlier,alongwithagolden-jacketedband,andallofthesewizardswerecurrentlysittingashortdistanceawayunderatree;Harrycouldseeabluehazeofpipesmokeissuingfromthespot.

           BehindHarry,theentrancetothemarqueerevealedrowsandrowsoffragilegoldenchairssetoneithersideofalongpurplecarpet.Thesupportingpoleswereentwinedwithwhiteandgoldflowers.FredandGeorgehadfastenedanenormousbunchofgoldenballoonsovertheexactpointwhereBillandFleurwouldshortlybecomehusbandandwife.Outside,butterfliesandbeeswerehoveringlazilyoverthegrassandhedgerow.Harrywasratheruncomfortable.TheMuggleboywhoseappearancehewasaffectingwasslightlyfatterthanhim,andhisdressrobesfelthotandtightinthefullglareofasummer’sday.

           "WhenIgetmarried,"saidFred,tuggingatthecollarofhisownrobes,"Iwon’tbebotheringwithanyofthisnonsense.
