           Theypackedupthetentnextmorningandmovedonthroughadrearyshowerofrain.Thedownpourpursuedthemtothecoast,wheretheypitchedthetentthatnight,andpersistedthroughthewholeweek,throughsoddenlandscapesthatHarryfoundbleakanddepressing.HecouldthinkonlyoftheDeathlyHallows.Itwasasthoughaflamehadbeenlitinsidehimthatnothing,notHermione’sflatdisbeliefnorRon’spersistentdoubts,couldextinguish.AndyetthefiercerthelongingfortheHallowsburnedinsidehim,thelessjoyfulitmadehim.HeblamedRonandHermione:Theirdeterminedindifferencewasasbadastherelentlessrainfordampeninghisspirits,butneithercoulderodehiscertainty,whichremainedabsolute.Harry’sbeliefinandlongingfortheHallowsconsumedhimsomuchthathefeltisolatedfromtheothertwoandtheirobsessionwiththeHorcruxes.
