           Everynowandthenherecognizedasurnamethat,likeAbbott,hehadmetatHogwarts.SometimestherewereseveralgenerationsofthesameWizardingfamilyrepresentedinthegraveyard:Harrycouldtellfromthedatesthatithadeitherdiedout,orthecurrentmembershadmovedawayfromGodric’sHollow.Deeperanddeeperamongstthegraveshewent,andeverytimehereachedanewheadstonehefeltalittlelurchofapprehensionandanticipation.

           Thedarknessandthesilenceseemedtobecome,allofasudden,muchdeeper.Harrylookedaround,worried,thinkingofdementors,thenrealizedthatthecarolshadfinished,thatthechatterandflurryofchurchgoerswerefadingawayastheymadetheirwaybackintothesquare.Somebodyinsidethechurchhadjustturnedoffthelights.
