Sophiesnorted.Michaelleftoffworkingonhisnewspellandranupanddownstairs.Thingsbecameveryrestless.InthetimeittookSophietosewtenmorebluetrianglesMichaelranupstairswithlemonandhoney,withaparticularbook,withcoughmixture,withaspoontotakethecoughmixturewith,andthenwithnosedrops,throatpastilles,gargle,pen,paper,threemorebooks,andaninfusionofwillowbark.Peoplekeptknockingatthedoortoo,makingSophiejumpandCalciferflickeruneasily.Whennooneopenedthedoor,someofthepeoplewentonhammeringforfiveminutesorso,rightlythinkingtheywerebeingignored.
