           Whenhehadleft,shegotthebottlesoutoneatatimeandputthemneatlyintothecabinetoverthetoaster,infrontofMrs.Wheatley’soldcansofspaghettiandchili.Thensheopenedabottleofginandtwistedthecapoffthevermouth.Shehadnevermadeacocktailbefore.Shepouredginintothetumblerandaddedalittlevermouth,stirringitwithoneofMrs.Wheatley’sspoons.Shecarriedthedrinkcarefullyintothelivingroom,satdownandtookalongswallow.
